Upon graduating from CUNY Hunter College, Jahleah earned the title of Managing Editor at culture site spoiled NYC. There she spent time pitching new editorial content, designing curriculum and schedules for the experimental Spoiled Creator Academy, overseeing interns, creating onboarding processes, fostering guest writer relationships, and helming the site newsletter, The Stoop, with an average readership of 90,000 readers. 

Driven by curiosity, she branched out into social media management for the @spoiledNYC Instagram handle, garnering more than 1K likes on her first photo post, and more than 28K views on her first staycation reel featuring urban getaway NYC Glamping in Brooklyn. Additionally, she produced a ‘New York City Staycation’ series, covering neighboring getaways in and around the city such as Club Getaway, The Vanderbilt, and Dream Downtown.

Jahleah began handling marketing materials for small clients of spoiled NYC’s parent company, Spoiled Media Marketing. She created deliverables like interactive quizzes for internationally recognized, Turkish Airlines, promotional videos for the single, “DANCA” from Nigerian artist Aceberg™ and releases for the critically-acclaimed Van Gogh Exhibit. 

She joined Assante Public Relations, early last year, committing to a part-time role handling long and short-form press materials and learning about brand exposure through influencer marketing, media events, and print placements. During her internship, she worked to get clients covered by sites like Eater, Time Out, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, Grub Street, Brooklyn Magazine, Fox News, and more.

Today, she maintains her role as Managing Editor of spoiled NYC’s newsletter, The Stoop, and works as a Public Relations Coordinator at Assante PR. When she’s not getting restaurants mentioned in digital and print publications by other writers, she’s getting her own dining-based articles covered in publications like Park Magazine and New You Magazine.
